Favorite NES or SNES Mega Man game?

Yeah, but that's only because Mega Man 1 had AWFUL box-art which turned many people off. MM2 was a better game though, not as good as 3, but good none the less.

If I recall correctly form the MMAA movie, they said they weren't originally planning on selling the game at all. After a last minute decision, their boss kind of just grabbed a friend to do it for him, in less than 6 hours. I liked how they picked on it.
 
there was a guy that was playing a mega man x game(forgot which) he was fighting sigma and he broke his thumb. but he still kept playing. lol :)
 
Wow, i've heard of people getting bruises on their thumbs from playing too much, but never heard of someone actually breaking their thumb!
 
I think I liked playing Mega Man X the best. I really didn't like all the X sequels, maybe cuz I never got the proper amount of time to play them. I just liked how good it looked on the SNES and the controls and levels and all the hidden stuff.

Probably stupid to ask, but did anyone here ever get the fireball in Mega Man X?

Mega Man 7 I'd like to add, I've been spending all week with this title and I must say, it's really fun once you get the hang of it. Tons of secrets however. The biggest problem I faced is Dr. Wily's final form...ouch, any weapon you use is a joke!

That game made me HATE Mega Man... It was the worst of the MM games that I had played. I really wish that they had stopped with the original Mega Man with Mega Man 5 on the NES (6 was boring, 7 was a pain).

Mega Man X, X2 and X3, those were where it was on the SNES. The NES should have stuck with the original, MM2, MM3 MM4 and maybe, just maybe MM5.
 
well 7 and 6 were fan based actually, remember the Nintendo Power contest back then?

I can understand why, MM6 imho was too easy...except I liked that really neat jet pack
