DDO problems

OK, we have three computers in our house that are all connected to the internet via wired connections. MY son, my husband and I all play ddo online together on these. After update 14, I would log in my character and the loading bar would not load and on the other's screens it would say that my character had logged on and then logged off...after this my loading bar loads and my character is standing in the world. She can turn in a circle and wave her weapons around but cannot move from that spot, and then ddo shuts down. On a second attempt at logging in, it wrks fine, so after update 14 I always had to log in twice. NOw, recently they did update 16 and after that I have to log in 3-5 times, and as of yesterday night I cannot log in ever no matter how many times I have tried. My son's pc works fine with it, even tho his is older and slower then mine. My pc has the same connection, virus protection, firewalls etc as the other computers. It does not have a bunch of stuff running in the background, in fact I turn off stuff running in the background lots of times to see if it will help. I have tried flushing the dns multiple times, disabling my firewall, and deleting and reinstalling the whole game. I still cannot get on. I have researched the issue online and apparently there are a fair amount of ppl having the same problem as I have. I have tried logging on when noone else is playing ddo in my household, still does not work. I can't understand why, as it works fine on the other pcs, and I don't see what could possibly be different about mine. Any ideas?

P.S. With my pc I can log into my husband's account on DDO fine and use his character ok. He can log into my account with his pc and use my character. I just cannot log into my account and play with my character. I tried uninstalling the game again and reinstalling it with all virus protection firewalls etc turned off during install and updates, but still does not work.
