It's an actual sequel to the Sega Genesis/Arcade classic...MERCS.
After seeing the previews and reading this, I kept wondering why the name sounded fimilar.
For those who didn't know, the original Commando was in Arcades and NES (re-release on Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 1)
Commandos 2, was renamed "MERCS" in America.
