Okay, more like an expansion pack. Back in the Famicon days (the Japanese SNES, for those of you who don't know), they had a downloadbale content via satelite thing-a-ma-jig going on.
Anyway, they essentially had an expansion for the original F-Zero called BS F-Zero 2, which had 5 new tracks, and pretty much revamped the 4 cars:
Blue Thunder (replaced Blue Falcon)
Luna Bomber (replaced Golden Fox)
Green Amazone (replaced Wild Goose)
Fire Scorpion (replaced Fire Stingray)
Although the cars are obvious replacements (Blue Thunder looks a little more futristic then the Blue Falcon), their stats are much different. Wild Goose was failry average in F-Zero. It's counterpat, Green Amazone, has the fastest acceleration, but has the same weight as before. Luna Bomber is now the fastest (as compared to Golden Fox, which was actually the slowest), but is still as light, and slides around as though it had been greased up.
I will not go through my means of "acquiring" this game, obviously, as BV doesn't really like that. I can tell you it wasn't through a satellite though.
