Whether the heart of the action revolves around competition or co-operation, this game ceases to be one of several choices for avoiding boredom when getting together with friends, and instead becomes the reason to get together with friends. Giving players the option to play both online and offline, and utterly destroying the previous benchmarks used to determine a decent amount of “replay value,” this game turns interest into obsession, and obsession into unbridled, addictive, fanaticism. The winner of this award must provide the backbone, and venue, of a socially, persistent, interactive, and unmatched, experience.

Absolutely no question. Left 4 Dead. Anyone who votes for anything else clearly hasn't played it.

Left 4 Dead was neat, intriguing even, but its just not a game that comes up on a regular basis for me. However, Rock Band 2 and SSB:B are two games I play on a weekly, if not daily, basis. Choosing between them was a bit of a toss up, but I appreciate the fact that SSB:B doesn't require the purchase of peripherals and DLC to get its maximum enjoyment.

SSBB was really hot at my house the first week or so it came out. But after that...we just went back to playing Rock Band. And then Rock Band 2 came out with new songs and we played that, and still play it now.

So my vote went to RB2.

LittleBigPlanet will get my vote in this category.

The game is basically further enhanced in the online play with others category (hence why you must connect to the server virtually whenever you load it up, sure you dont have to but the nice ability of getting new updates to all of your high scores on levels etc). Playing with other people and following them to their levels or to levels that they choose is fun, playing with others on storylevels helped people beat the game, lol, and lastly getting levels and becoming their friends is ultimately a user friendly system in this game on the PS3.

The game has tons of content that you can download, you can decorate other peoples Sackboys and Sackgrils, you can decorate their homes, you can play others on the levels that they create or that the other world creates. Just about every experience will be different. An excellent game for every collection on the PS3 and an excellent game to propel the Playstation Network forwar.
