Thats a sick collection.

That is amazing. I had to show my wife so she'll stop saying that I have a gaming problem.
Now if I can only raise $8,100 in 47 minutes...

hm.... thats actually over priced for 2080 games.  Don't know why anyone would bid up that high. The more games you sell at once... the less you can expect to get per game.... thats just how it works (I know... some people won't agree with me... but its how things do work).

Average is $3.89 per game.

You don't know if all the games work 100%
Some might be ex rentals
Some might be stickered...
All which devalue a game.

For this lot... I wouldn't pay more than $1.75 per game.... even as a buyer not reselling.  Why?  1313 NES games...  (and the explanation above about stickers..etc).  Most NES games cart only ... really only sell for around $2.50-4.50... with $4.50 pushing it (meaning it would have to be in NICE condition).

I went back and took a second look... I would have offered around $5500-6000 for the package SHIPPED as long as all the games were guaranteed to work... and none were stickered.  Per game  stickered there would be some off (or marked with pen..etc).  Torn labels would have taken some off too.

Im sure anyone who is buying it for themselves isnt to worried about money
true... but remember... most of the time people with money want better quality... not quantity.
quality wise... this wouldn't be the lot to pick up. Their pics do show some games are stickered...etc.

Well BV, to me it seems that buying NES carts on the net is the cheap route. But locally, I have seen them go as high as $25. Cart only. No box, and no manual. So if the guy is buying them for a brick-and-mortar store, he's making out like a bandit. Now if he's going to split it apart and sell it off on ebay, then the guy is nuts.
Or it could be a bidding frenzy, where two or three people want the collection so bad that they forget about the price and focus on being the high bidder. In that case the seller makes out.

well... look at the high bidder (0) feedback. Could be shill bidding... or could be a deadbeat.

@ maiden... true.

Or it could be the seller's buddy inflating the bidding price. Shady product with a high price makes you wonder...
I just looked at the seller's feedback. It looks fake. There's people leaving feedback like six or seven times for the same product.

That guy is as legit as the golden warthog. His feedback page has loads of stuff left by the same people for the same product. 8000 items sold and a 99.7% score? Unlikely...

Though I'm not totally sure how it could benefit someone, other than the good feedback, I think he may buy items from himself...or sets it up so he knows who will win...
