Are there any MMOs out there that DO NOT have raids, but instead have just the dungeons and all the other traditional MMO stuff? Seems like most MMOs follow in the foot steps of World of Warcraft by having Weapons and Armors sought after in Raids as end game content. This kind of end game content is what destroys MMOs...it's done all wrong.
I would love to see and MMO where top level Armor and Weapons are gained through professions, battlegrounds, quests, and serveral player dungeons....but not 25 to 40 man Raids. That's why I continue to play stand alone PC games more than anything because MMOs are not the bomb right now.
The Casual video game "Soiled Earth" (which is addicting) is more fun to play than World of Warcraft and it's much lighter on your pockets. Hell, even the freeware game "Legend of Zelda, Deja'Vu" beats "WOW."
I've played that MMO for years, and so many other players agreed with me and a lot of those players kissed "WOW" goodbye before I did. I went to "Age of Conan" thinking it would not kill the game with Raiding but it did. "Guild Wars" do not have raids but that MMO is not really like a true MMO...it's more like a stand alone game and it sucks. "PWI" did not have raids....just hard dungeons, but the Cash Shop destroys that game. The developers built "PWI" depended on the Cash Shop too much.
