Animal Crossing w/ Wiispeak Bundle confirmed

They call that a bundle? A mic that can only be used in a few select games is coming packed in for an extra $20? If I had a Wii, I'd pass on this. I'm sure others will eat this up though. Just kinda doesn't seem like a bundle to me, unless the Wiispeak will be sold seperately later for like $30.

exactly..... and it will be sold separately =/ at probably that price. also is only $10 extra, i wonder why amazon says is 20 extra

Yeah, but you get a high quality blue-tooth headset with a game that should be $60 alone, all for $60. With this, you get a game, that they're selling off as $50 or so, and adding another $20 for a periph that you have to hook up on top of your tv? Just doesn't seem that great of a deal...if it were $50 or $60 I wouldn't have a problem, but the fact that this is pricier than PS3 and 360 bundles just doesn't seem very...Nintendo-like.

it might not seem that great of a deal to YOU but some people want the WII speak with the bundle because the price for the separate Wii speak is unknown....

True, it just doesn't seem that great to me. I'm sure if I find out the Wii Speak alone is like $30 or $40, then this is a great bundle.

TBH, yeah it would be a great bundle, but it would a crap price for the peripheral anyway. I'm not getting WiiSpeak. Seems like a waste to me if it's over twenty bucks.

You can get your hands on Nintendo's talkin' puck on Nov. 16, either bundled with Animal Crossing: City Folk for $69.99, or by its lonesome for $29.99. The accessory comes with a coupon which allows you to download the Wii Speak Channel for free (we're unclear whether City Folk includes said coupon), which will be available for download sometime in December -- and yes, you can only chat with those whose unwieldy friend codes you've already acquired
