Recently Remedy, the creators of Alan Wake, have revealed a brand new trailer for this highly anticipated title.
While the trailer does sport a bit of an "overkill" narrator, the game does look incredibly appetizing and refreshing for gamers looking for a good scare.
Without getting into too much detail (that's what the video is for), the game is set around a writer, Alan Wake, who ends up in a very odd town. His wife goes missing, the villagers try to kill him every chance they get, and your only means of protection is the light.
This theme of light as your weapon is a very interesting concept that appears to have taken quite a great deal of time to program. Enemies cower or are temporarily stunned while you shoot a flare, your flashlight appears to "burn" them, and I'm sure a lot of other fun elements are to ensue with this innovative system.
Luckily, you are not limited to just using light, as actually killing the enemies relies heavily on the use of your shotgun, and hopefully, other weapons...
