Sounds interesting, but at $399?

I think I'd still go for a slim 120GB at $299 and upgrade the drive to a WD Scorpio Black 7200 rpm drive if I actually needed more than 120GB.

Actually how much would that be? I am curious of doing that if I ever get a pS3.

A WD Scorpio Black can from Newegg is $49.99 + 0.99 shipping for 250 GB with a 16 mb cache. I'd presume that would be quite a bit faster than the stock 5400 rpm drive or the Scorpio Blue offerred on that refurb model.

:( It's a dark chapter of what happened in October last year and I hate it.

Oh yes, I've had a few of those myself! There's a lot of stuff I sold that I regret >:(
